Emergency Hurricane Relief Request

The situation is dire in the Jalapa Valley

Nov. 17, Central America braced for its second major storm in as many weeks as Hurricane Iota, a record-setting  Category 5 storm, roared ashore in Nicaragua Monday night November 9, 2020.
The storm made landfall in nearly exactly the same place as Eta,a Category 4 hurricane. Coordinator Karla Pozo describes massive crop failure, adobe houses at the point of collapse, washed out roads and bridges isolating entire communities, and the specter of widespread hunger and disease. We are launching an emergency response to this crisis.
